Hunter White

Bowdoin College

Having travelled all around the world, Hunter started his academic journey having graduated from Kent School in Connecticut with induction to the Cum Laude Society. Motivated by his passion for the environment, Hunter decided to attend Bowdoin College, a prestigious liberal arts college in the United States. During his time at Bowdoin, Hunter studied Asian Studies, Education Policy, and Environmental Studies. In addition, Hunter participated in a wide range of internship experiences. Hunter was also an exchange student at National Taiwan Normal University in Taipei and Yunnan University in Kunming.

Hunter gradually discovered and exhibited his acumen for working with students while completing courses in the Education Department and gaining classroom experience with students from various age groups. He expanded on his interest in international education by completing two semester-length independent study projects focused on international education policy and on the experiences of Chinese students studying in America. Having previously worked with a reputable boarding school consulting company in Taiwan and a college consulting company in Beijing, Hunter has a significant background in education counselling and good understanding of the needs of Asian students.
