The SAT is held annually in August, October, November, December, March, May, and June. Most high school students sit the SAT during the spring of their junior year and autumn of their senior year. Students who are not satisfied with their results can retake the exam until they are happy with their scores. When you submit your SAT results to colleges or universities, they only consider your highest section scores over all the tries of SAT.
